Ah, the life of a guild leader :) I guess it's all about expectation setting hehe.
Similar with the server I guess, so ya, to confirm the assertion, I'd like to get things balanced where raids are possible for 6 people. However, I do want to toss in the caveat (not for you, but just in general) that 'possible' for a single group doesn't necessarily mean 'any' single group.
In general, killing things with low numbers in EQ means you need good players, well geared and aa'd characters, and a good mix of classes for the encounter. That doesn't mean that I think everything should be balanced on the knife-edge of possibility, but it's something that I think everyone should be aware of. Of course, since all zones aren't instanced, that also means the well-balanced 6 man fight will be pretty trivial when someone brings 12. Although, maybe I should investigate instancing everything hehe... :)
