Heya,

Looking for "a one-eyed gnoll" for a quest. Just wondering if he is in game or not and if I need to kill a PH to spawn him.

Thanks,

Burdoc

Also if he does spawn, could you tell me which zone he spawns in? "Infected Paw" is a weird zone. So, not sure if this version would spawn the gnoll in south karana or there.

Nvm, just stumbled upon him lol. He wasn't in his known spawn location from allakhazam/eqmagelo records. I am gonna assume the second NPC apart of the The Gnoll Slayer 2.0 quest has similar features.

Does "a Lteth Val Scribe" spawn in south karana or does the item "book of greater enhancement" drop off a different mob?

My assumption turns out was correct, the book drops off of a "Nisch Val Torash Mashk" instead. According to Allakhazam, it isnt supposed to be the mob that drops it. (Of course Allakhazam isn't 100% correct anyhow).

A wandering "a Tesch val Gnoll" may be it's placeholder but I am unsure.

[EDIT]

The "Nisch Val Torash Mashk" was heading East to West above Splitpaw and was killed at -2477, 305.

The "a one-eyed gnoll" was found moving South to North around Splitpaw as well. Saw him a few times, but seemed to despawn off track? Maybe a timed spawn?

Glad you got your items! Some things are a little wonky in and around Paw because of its revamp. Spawns were moved around on live, and the peq db ended up with some data that didn't match. Some gnolls are also on day/night spawn cycles (which themselves can be hit or miss...), further confusing things.
