Visions of Grandeur

Good morning everyone,

I know I am one of the few players interested in tradeskills and I am weird. If you ever need anything tradeskills please send me a tell, I would love to help.

I was trying some PoP armor last night and was able to make a Livestone Chain Tunic (Woot!!):

I next tried to make a Livestone Plate Gauntlets for the wife(her hands are cold):

I had to do these old school (loading items into forge manually). Had no trouble with the chain tunic but the gauntlets said "You can't combine these items in this container". I followed the recipes per EQTraders with a Blacksmithing skill of 190 (199 modified with Geerlok).

Any suggestions?

Lots of recipes aren't in the db, I can check on adding that one next time I'm on.

looks like the recipe in the DB was a little off what's posted on eqtraders, so we fixed it to match. let me know if it doesn't work now

As always, thank you a ton. I will check it out and let you know.

Would it be possible/easy to export the recipe tables to an Excel file? It would be nice to know if I am chasing a receipt that doesn't work or doesn't match other resources. It would also make it so anyone working with tradeskills doesn't have to bother you unless something is broke.

Just a thought.

That's a pretty good idea. We'll give it a look when we get a bit of time and if we can get it to work will post it to the forum for you.

Hey Fatal,

The guantlet recipe was fixed, but I failed and had to hunt up some more ingredients. Tried it again today and it appears to be broken again.

If you have had time to run that table I will just go with what it says rather you trying to change things if they don't work according to internet resources.

So, I found another source that has this recipes consistent with what works.

I will verify some other recipes and let you know the source. The excel file would still be appreciated if it is even possible.

Control did up a recipe excel file. You can find it in another thread here on the forum. Hope it helps.
