What is "Warping"?

So I know this server has a rule about no warp killing, but what does it mean? Just had a scenario and would like to know if this is warp killing.

Today, my wife, two daughters, and I were working our way to Naggy to try and kill him for the first time. We spent about an hour fighting our way to Naggy. We cleared all the giants and were standing on the bridge before Naggy getting ready to buff and try to take him. Out of the back corner of Naggy's area, a level 65 (name ommited), came running out, engages, and kills Naggy. As soon as I saw him I run in and hailed him repeatedly with no response. He finished off Naggy and then left. He left the loot for us but it wasn't about the loot. It was about the four of us (highest level among us is 47) working together to take him down. It was about the journey. He claimed to be bound in the back of the zone and kills Naggy every time he logs in. He also said he never checks for anyone in the zone because he says people are rarely there. This could be true, but I don't know if he somehow warped back there or not. If it is true he is bound there, I honestly wouldn't care other than this being incredible rude since it would have taking all of 10 seconds to check if anyone was already in zone and headed for Naggy. Also, it wasn't like we were at the zone line. I was close enough to aggro Naggy, we just weren't ready yet. We had cleared Magnus Rokyl already also.

The reality is, my daughter was very upset. She was so excited to kill Naggy for the first time. We had already failed at the task once and that wasn't a big deal, but to have the kill chance taken away was terrible in the way it happened.

So, is this warp killing?

Thank you for listening.

no, but it's certainly not playing nice. :(

Thank you for clarifying Control.

I want you to know this has been rectified. Another player has taken it upon themselves to give us another clear shot at Naggy. I would remove this post now if I could.

Can I first of all say how COMPLETELY AWESOME it is that your entire family plays and banded together to try to take out Naggy? I am so jealous, lol. My kids are way too little and my wife doesn't like EQ. Did you guys try Vox since Naggy was down? Talendor is also fairly close in difficulty.

Hey guys, thanks a lo! It is pretty awesome playing with the family.

So, we were able to log in this morning and bring down Naggy!

The reality of this situation is it was a mis-understanding. I do not believe anything was done deliberately and we were all just upset because of the way it happened. All is good now and I still love this server because of the small community feel.

greenspecter,

We already took Vox and I will be adding Talendor to our to do list.

Happy Father's Day everyone!!

I know, makes me sad that my family hates computer games.
