Could anyone possibly shed some light on places I should begin to gear my 4box crew at? I have done droga, veksar, fableds i've been able to find. I have one lvl 65, one lvl 64, and 2 lvl 62s. I have completed poj trial, postorms, and banished efreeti to get my toons started on progression. Just curious of what I could kill to get my gear going as I finish my levels out and start aaing.

Thank you!

I would just start doing the Velious raid content. Hit up Kael for Tormax/Vindicator/Statue, NToV (except Vulak), Dozekar (Halls of Testing) and there are a couple of Veeshan's Peak quests you can do. If I remember correctly, you can do the Xygoz and Hoshkar quests pretty easily in Veeshan's Peak and eventually a quest from Phara Dar but it is a little more work. I'm not sure what your setup is but hitting up Maestro in Plane of Hate or Tunare in Plane of Growth may yield some decent items. You may want to do the Halls of Testing or Kael arena quests armors since the gems are sold on a vendor in PoK. You may also want to consider Cazic Thule as a group zone to farm as there are some decent item from there like Barbed Rubicite for chain classes.

I think the other route you can go is to farm molds in Sol Ro Tower but I have never done it that way. I have just seen them drop while clearing for flagging. You will still need to farm non-visible gear slots and weapons if you go that route though. However, if you already have some Veksar and Droga it might not be an issue.

You can quite easily max your Dragon faction by clearing the Kael arena in an hour or so even if it is completely bottomed out. If you decide to complete the Veeshan's Peak quests just hit up Permafrost. You can max your faction in 15 minutes or so.

He summed it up pretty well. NToV and SolRo tower are both pretty good exp as well, since cranking out AA's is very helpful.

I would also add that Lord Seru is a pretty easy farm with minimal gear and AA's, as long as you have a slower.

Dumb question... what are you killing in Permafrost for VP faction. I thought they were Ring of Scale?

The goblins give big RoS gains

You can also kill the trash in Veeshan's Peak and get a few decent drops. The wyverns drop a Mana Preservation IV earring, wurms drop a FT 4 ring, basilisks drop a decent melee 1HB, and Drake's drops a 36% range slot item. The named in the zone, not the dragons, also have some drops but they don't drop every time since they share a loot table with items from the original Veeshan's Peak.

Thank you all who responded. Should trying to make my way through Planar Progression be something that is possible with a Warrior, Ranger,Monk, Shaman combo? Or should I lose a class to add another class?

I hate to say it but you are pretty much going to need to add a cleric or at least a second healer. A druid may be viable but you will need to have someone else comment on the viability of druids since I never play them. Decide between dropping the ranger or the monk. The basic template people use for the server is war/monk/shaman/cleric although the times you need feign death are few and far between. Keep on mind you won't be able to do all planar progression four boxing anyways so I would just keep whichever character you like playing better between the ranger and monk. This is just my opinion and your milage may vary.

I'm also working on my progression currently, so if you want to tag team anything just let me know either here or in game. Some of the stuff is starting to get tricky to 4 box for me.

So is the Shaman preferred over Enchanter due to durability? or is it just personal preference?

I think it is mostly preference but, in my opinion, the shaman brings more to the group. The shaman brings secondary healing, avatar, the proc buff line and SoW that the enchanter doesn't bring. Due to the server rules, Mez is not really needed on this server, charm is reduced in effectiveness due to the reduction in mob strength, and clarity pots are readily available from the merchant. Enchanters aren't bad but shaman are better due to the server rules.
