Visions of Grandeur

Does anyone remember the sequence for the Avatar of Water fight? Do the adds have to die before the mini named die? I've cleared the 3 waves several times and then sit there starring at the Avatar without it activating - then I gat banished. Only thing I haven't done is clear the adds then kill the mini bosses.

Yes, you have to clear all of the adds.

Have to do it fast, like 10min from start to finish or something.. Not sure of the exact time, but it has to be quick.
