Tank Gear and AC Caps

Hi all,

I'm nearing end-game gearing on my SK and I'm curious about the AC caps on the server. It's always seemed really complicated to figure out displayed AC vs real AC, caps, etc. Has anyone pulled this together for this server? I'm wondering if the rules are different based on where we are in the expansions, the client, etc.

My SK is about 2000 AC and 9800 hp buffed and using a 2H weapon. I'm wondering if this is good or if I should focus on more AC items that may have less HP.

Any thoughts are welcome!

I haven't put the numbers together and can't tell you what the soft caps are but my warrior is at 12.1k HP and 2400AC. Hopefully that give you some context. I'm not sure I could move either number a whole lot by swapping gear. The change to AC and HP either way would be pretty minor.

For whatever it's worth, the hit rates and damage formulas haven't been tinkered with, only the hp/resists and max/min damage, so the spread should still be the same as default eqemu at the time of install. Now, whether or not eqemu's combat formulas actually behave like live? No idea about that.
